So you're saying it was responsible for the decline and comatose state in music? Shocked

you're not into punk ? how can't you ? The Ramones, Joy Division, Television and Wire are your cure !

I heard there was a big ruckus and they destroyed music or something. But they didn't really because a rather big user on here will not like me saying that. They put on silly haircuts and were described as "vermin" by the police constable I hear. Couldn't write songs or play guitar too I hear Shocked It may have been from the punks themselves though...

I got an album from all the artists mentioned Very Happy The Ramones first two, the 2 Joy Divison and Pink Flag and Chairs Missing are great! I haven't listened to the Television one much but own a copy.

... and those artists. I have never heard them chosen over other artists with the punk label Shame on you

i guess you're talking about Marquee Moon, but how can you own it and not having listened to it ??? it's like in summer in a very hot day, and you are thirsty as hell, and there you have in front of you a cold soda or a beer, but you're saying no i won't drink it Not talking
anyway Marquee Moon is not really Punk... a very soft and intelligent one maybe Think, just the Opposite Of The Ramones (the album).

I'm listening to Marquee Moon right now Very Happy

I remember you telling me how it wasn't on my chart, etc..

Well, gave it a few more chances, and I love it Smile Might climb into my top 50 of all time...

One thing that hasn't been said in this topic is how much Ramones is good fun. A very enjoyable album, good simple music by people who didn't take themselves seriously... everything rock should be, really. I love this.
