I don't really care for The White Stripes anymore, but this is their best album. _________________

Same as HazeyTwilight. Not really a fan of The White Stripes, but I dig this album. Loses some steam by the end, but solid and diverse, while still being a lot of fun.
Track picks
1. Dead Leaves And The Dirty Ground
4. Fell In Love With A Girl
8. The Same Boy You've Always Known

I'll forever love The White Stripes, and pretty much anything Jack White does for that matter. This was the album that introduced me to them, and it remains my favorite by a slim margin. Still holding out hope that they'll reunite one day, but it doesn't sound like it'll happen. Maybe it's for the best though, as I doubt they'd be able to capture the magic they had back in this era.

A garage romp straight through. Jack White never wrote songs so much as short jams, but this one has the best balance between an unrefined garage sound and music to sing along to.
