An album that is endlessly fun: Is This It by The Strokes
A classic status album: The Velvet Underground by The Velvet Underground
A Sufjan album, because that's a necessary category: Illinois by Sufjan Stevens

If I'm on a desert island I expect I'll be there a while, so I'd prefer quantity over qualtity (without choosing long albums I don't like). So by that logic:

Modest Mouse - Lonesome Crowded West
