A true guilty pleasure of mine. Usually I find McCartney's work too sugar-sweet, but here he's made a pretty flawlessly fun 70s pop album. Might honestly prefer this to most Beatles records at times.

I don't really know how to express exactly why, but I really, really hate this album. If we had a "Least Favorite Musical Moments" thread, the horrible title track would be one of mine. Ram isn't much better, though.

This album brings back a few memories for me. Dad let me mess around with his old vinyl collection as a kid, and this album was mixed in with all the Pink Floyd, Alan Parsons, Kraftwerk and Al Stewart (he seriously had everything by those four on vinyl). But I still remember going to the basement and thumbing through those records. When I'd reach this, I'd laugh at the cover. Ahh, nostalgia for simpler times. _________________ " A Minor Setback"
