These are so fun to read. I'm guessing you are finding what you wrote about the album when you first joined the site/etc? I know I've been there many times.

I too ranked the first 4 songs well, and the rest trailed off for me... sounds like I need to listen to it more than a couple times to judge it as such.

This is, without a doubt, the greatest Western European house record released between January 28th and March 11th of 2001.

Also, 'Something about Us' is a really great song.

Yeah, Gabe and Neil are spot-on. I love Discovery, but you can't real compare this to other house records. There might be some ass-shaking involved here, but it has much more in common with something like M83 than their heroes DJ Funk or even their French peers Sedat.
