This is a fascinating list compared to most that have been selected as “Chart of the Day”.
I have not heard most of the recordings on the list, and I am acquiring the feeling I relate much better to European music than to African (in contrast to what Robert Christgau said in his 1990s Consumer Guide) but this list looks very interesting even if I am by no means sure I would like everything on it.

Yep, this is a great one. The more times I listen to Gottsching's "E2-E4" the further it goes up my own list.

Odd comment re. African music - Sorrow, Tears & Blood is the only one here.
Bruno’s chart is hands-down (for me at least) the one chart - along with Norm’s and Gabe’s - that I never tire of, that I constantly look to for new sounds and most importantly love the tits off. It’s a home-run, slam-dunk, 35 yard Roberto Carlos free kick of a 100 - especially for MPB and other Brazilian wonderments. _________________ 'Reggae' & t'ing
