Everyone's dad's favorite album. Probably for a good reason. Personally I think the opening and closing tracks are the strongest ones.

Strong album.

I was only aware of their greatest hits till a few years ago when I bought this album, on the strength of its reputation.

I think it's one of the best albums of the 70's.

Yeah it's total Dad rock but I like a lot of Dad rock.

Great album.
Massive burnout factor though.
I still like the even numbered cuts.

Definitely a solid album. The title cut is one of the best songs of the 70s, and The Last Resort is a fantastic and heart-wrenching closer. New Kid in Town and Life in the Fast Lane are quite good as well. Some really great vocal harmonies and guitar playing here too, which help to elevate some of the meandering moments.
