Yeah, I'm two listens in. I quite like it too but I don't think he's quite nailed this one. That said, it pretty much sounds like I'd expect Kanye does gospel to sound-which is a good thing. I think Kanye can do better but this is potentially a decent transitional album towards something greater.

i don't understand the controversy around it. listened through twice, and it sounds more-or-less just like every other kanye album.

I will say that Water as a song is really good. Kinda reminds me a bit of Jelly Charm.
