This was my sister's favorite album as a kid. I remember looking for a copy on vinyl for her birthday, but coming up empty. She plays bass now, funny how music does that. We should revisit it sometime! I remember thinking it was pretty alright.
It's Black Keys, so it's simple and energetic rock n roll music. And it's lots of fun. Probably their best effort, more consice than Brothers and it benefits from that. Bottom half is noticeably weaker though, with Nova Baby being the clear highlight there, smashing song. _________________ All time
