Here's another write-up describing my feelings for a wonderful album.
"In a world so depressing that it doesn't remember what love is, the same cheap misconception has become a long-time radio philosophy. But true love is not a philosophy: it is a way of life. And so my only regret for my greatest collection of poems is that it is still far too short. 69 different methods of romantic expression can't even scratch the surface of love's intricacies. True love deserves more than that." _________________ Do it yourself and let me play my music: https://www.besteveralbums.com/thechart.php?c=61802

It really is. It's one of those rare albums I don't mind spending such a long time with. _________________ Do it yourself and let me play my music: https://www.besteveralbums.com/thechart.php?c=61802

Actually, it's too short (only partially kidding).
Such a fantastic album, some of the songs here are pretty bad but the terrific ones more than make up for. Merritt really hit the nail on the head in his attempt to write love songs in many different styles and even surpassed his goal by injecting so much life and feeling into them (unintentionally, according to him).
I ranked all the songs on the album here if you're curious. _________________ And it's hard to be a human being. And it's harder as anything else.
