Funny this album has come up as AOTD as I'm going to see the band on Saturday (they are the support act for Noel Gallagher at London's Alexandra Palace)
The second half is fantastic and probably one of the best sides of any album to come out of the UK in the 1980s. The Killing Moon as well as the title track are incredible especially with how well the string arrangements are used. There are a couple of filler tracks in the first half though that prevent the record from being as good as the Queen is Dead though
