Famously recorded in one day (13-15 hours if I’m correct), Please Please Me is unique in its potent reflection of the Beatles’ live set at the time and how tight they were with the material.

A great start to the recorded career of rock’s most famous band, but not without its couple of duds (Boys definitely isn’t my favorite Ringo track).
