About album of the day: The BestEverAlbums.com album of the day is the album appearing most prominently in member charts in the previous 24 hours. If an album has previously been selected within a x day period, the next highest album is picked instead (and so on) to ensure a bit of variety.
I used to defend this album a lot more than I do now. I think the fact that there has been album after album after album of the same exact thing over the last 15 years hasn't helped. If you take a step back, there's really nothing that makes this album stand out except for the fact that we were conditioned that this was automatically one of the best albums from the 90s. Everlong has been prven to be better as an acoustic, the big hits My Hero and Monkey Wrench now seem pretty boring and have been beaten like a dead horse over the years, and I can't think of much else on this album that saves it.
I'm not saying they're Nickelback or anything, but this is very boring to me now.
