Decided to start a thread for those that are vinyl collector's to discuss what they like about the album more on vinyl, or just what album are you listening to, but on vinyl, so you can be all hipster like that.
Support the best album format: Vinyl... you can skip forward, but not as easily... and well if it truly is a good album you won't want to. What an album was meant to be listened on!
Also, my two favorite vinyl record shops:
Salt Lake City:
The mecca of them all:
Los Angeles:

My personal Vinyl collection only consists of Automatic for the People and In The Aeroplane Over The Sea. I'm too scared to play them incase they get damanged.

If you can find them used, it might be worth it as the warmth of the listening experience is worth it...

My dad has a large collection from about 1963-1985, but a lot of them are so dusty and scratched it's not worth it, especially at the louder moments of an album - which you shouldn't want to turn down.

I only have about 20, but have decided to only buy vinyl from here on out. With stuff like Spotify, I have no interest in buying digital (including CD) music ever again.
As a matter of fact, this last month I visited both Amoeba Music and Randy's Records, getting rid of about 150 albums, so that I could buy more vinyl. Latest purchases with that money on credit:
1) New 2009 remaster of Sgt. Pepper's
2) New Nirvana unplugged in New York
3) New Jimi Hendrix "Are You Experienced"
4) Used Beethoven's 5th Symphony
5) Used Paul Simon's Greatest hits.
First new release purchase on vinyl: 2nd Law by Muse.
