Meh, I've never really listened to any of his stuff. Like, I know the hits and that's about it. Never listened to a full album by the guy.

Yeah. I meant on this site though. He was huge in the 80's and big first half of the 90's but seem to have faded from memory since.

I think Purple Rain is still fairly high up in the charts; I agree that he doesn't seem to have the same kind of pull as someone like Michael Jackson, which is a shame since MJ actually took a lot of his steez from Prince once the '80s rolled around.
