Despite the critical acclaim, I'm not even remotely tempted to listen to this.

I'm entertained by this album in the same way that I'm entertained by this clip:

Link

I laugh at it, then I feel bad for laughing.

I mean, all this ironic Kanye worship seems kind of mean spirited and exploitative. I feel bad for the guy, he clearly doesn't know any better. But on the other hand, he's unintentionally created the most hilarious piece of "art" of 2010, and it's totally worth listening to.

This is one of those "never got the acclaim" albums for me. You'd be better off worshiping other rap/hip-hop albums.

Monster is a fucking masterpiece. It's the one thing on the planet that makes me glad Nikki Minaj exists. Other than that, please keep this shit away from me. I'll stick with my College Dropout tyvm.

This. Okay, maybe Runaway and Dark Fantasy are good too.

It's becoming fashionable of late to say that Kanye can't spit.

Well, I am quite the trendsetter.

Expansive production and brilliantly compiled - this album sits much more strongly on it's ideas, direction and pop influences than it does hip-hop. Kanye's flow is unimaginative, whereas his sampling is excellent.

If this is your favourite 'hip-hop' album, you need to listen to more hip-hop.

This. Completely.
