Automatic Chart Creation

I apologize if this has been discussed before.

I think it would be great if we only had to enter albums once into a large list. Then we can select which charts we want to create based on the list. As an example, I input my list of 500 greatest albums. Then, since I'm a Level 5 user, I can select Greatest Album and Decade charts that will be automatically generated based on my 500 album list.

I was about to suggest something like this. I like the idea of decade charts, but as often as I change my overall chart, it's just not practical for me to update all of the individual charts on top of that.

I found a similar thread ( http://www.besteveralbums.com/phpBB2/vi...php?t=5907 ) from last month. But I prefer the idea of having a large list and the ability to select which charts I would like to display based on that list.

I'm in favour of doing something along these lines. Still going through the process of working out the best mechanism, which might end up being a hybrid of everything (some great ideas in the other thread too).
