Nicely stated, Alex.

I just feel so happy when I think about this album. Really important to my life.

And Jeff Tweedy is from Stlouis originally, a uncle Tupelo came out of here, so I have an added personal feeling of connection. He mentions some stlouis Missouri things in YHF. Like when he says "I Sincerely miss those Heavy metal bands I used to go see on the Landing in the summer" I used to go to the landing by the Mississippi River in the summer!

Anyway, love it.

I have this album on some of my charts, and yes, I like it quite a bit..

But I still think it's generally over-rated Confused For all of those who think it's 'underwhelming', etc.. You really have to listen to it again. Not to 'retry' it, but this album has the same effect Daydream Nation or Kid A have, you need to listen to it enough times to enjoy it. Like a complex book or something.

I haven't heard it in a couple months though Smile I'll look forward to listening to it again soon.

Great album. I was also a bit underwhelmed the first time I listened to it. But the second time I listened it was with the volume way up through headphones in the dark, and it seemed to be the perfect atmosphere for it. Listening to the lady repeat the album title was especially eerie in that atmosphere. I don't know it just kind of clicked the second time and kept growing from there. One of the greatest opening tracks of all time, and not the only masterpiece here.

I was never underwhelmed by YHF, but it might be a little high on BEA's overall chart. I always enjoy listening to it though.

The opener is awesome, and there are other good moments but it's not a great favorite overall. Still good though.
