Note: will leave 12-24 hour "digestion period" before each polls open, to give participants a chance to catch up on albums they may have missed and for captains to promote their albums

The Supersilent album is absolutely incredible. It is supposedly all free improvisation (no overdubs or anything), which is fascinating considering how slick, atmospheric, and at some points even melodic it is. It has this brilliant nocturnal moodiness to it. Something along the lines of Rock + ambient + EAI and certainly one of the most creative albums of the early 2000's.
Beirut on the other hand, are boring.
just get a good pair of headphones and listen to this:
The Flying Club cup is very solid, though it is at best my second favorite from Beirut. I'm gonna have to go with 6. It is (or at least I find it to be) a far more interesting and engaging listen
I think the Flying Club Cup album has... nice melodies to it. I feel I know the abstract feel it's going for, I don't have the words for it. It's hard for me to keep my attention after a few songs though.
Supersilent might be my best discovery of the tournament. I'm considering it for my chart actually... but I'll need more time to let things weigh in. So I'm voting for that.
