Second best MTV Unplugged album, only behind Alice in Chains.

Almost agree with this (Depending on my mood it can vary between them, but both are great).

Anyway, love this, big Nirvana fan, but my favourite tracks off this are probably the fantastic Meat Puppets covers.

Phenomenal. Many of the tracks ("About a Girl", "Dumb", "Polly", "Something in the Way") far surpass their studio versions, and this album's versions of "Man Who Sold the World" and the Meat Puppets tunes are far better than the originals, in my opinion. It was an album that nobody expected Nirvana to make, yet they pulled it off perfectly, and it's just that much more powerful in light of Kurt's suicide. It's not quite at the same level as Nevermind, but I personally prefer it to In Utero. Excellent, excellent album.

This is pretty much what I was going to say.

It's so good it makes me want to reconsider my rule of no live albums on my charts.

I can still remember watching it on TV and knowing it was special...

For some reason, I've never listened to this. I just looked it up and found out that it was released on my birthday!
