"Common People" was the best British single of 1995.

Great album! I actually didn't find this because I knew the band or Common People, I found this after Underwear came on in my spotify radio. I was surprised to find out Common People was the big hit off the album, frankly, just because I would've guessed if there was a big hit it would've been Disco 2000. That said, the track that I still always think of with this is Underwear ... I still can't tell if it's creepy, downright rapey, or sweet. Or maybe all of those.

A had a pretty intense Pulp phase in March of 2012, these guys are definitely my favorite Britpop band. This is a stellar album (it's somewhere on my chart), although I don't go back to it often now. My favorite track is "Common People", although that doesn't seem to be a popular opinion here.... My second favorite is probably "Underwear", really phenomenal and underrated Pulp track.

My favorite track by Pulp in general, by far, is "Babies", which is probably in my top 25 songs ever.

And yay for 1000! Party
