bonooo, not sure how your chart would have been deleted. Did anything strange happen prior to this? This is the first time someone has reported this. We could restore the original version of your chart if you want us to?

sorry for delay replying went to work, after I changed the chart, did the usual press to enter chart, took ages, and when it finally came up, there were 59 entries, many of which were duplicates, anyway, scrapped that 1 & started again, no problem this time.

apologies for the problem. I've been trying to think how these things could have happened and the only way I can think that duplicate entries would be submitted is if the submit button was clicked multiple times (which I can understand if the site was slow) and for the chart to be deleted, again maybe the process was aborted before the confirmation page had fully loaded (if the site was slow, then again I can understand not wanting to wait).
I'll have a look into both these areas and see if there's some improvements we can make. Generally, I thought site speed had improved lately as we've made quite a few optimisations ( http://code.google.com/speed/page-speed/docs/using.html ) (maybe I'm wrong...)

A similar thing has happened to me before a couple of times - the duplicate albums error. This also happened when I clicked 'edit chart' and the page loaded slowly... I'm trying to remember the details but I think the duplication might have happened when some of the boxes came up empty and then I refilled them? It hasn't happened lately though.

It sounds strange for the boxes to be empty when loading your chart. If you can remember any more details, please let us know (if we can reproduce the problem, it'll be a lot easier to fix). In the meantime, we'll check the code to try and work out how this problem might occur.

Hmm. Well now I'm having a similar problem. Nothing comes up when I click "My Chart" except the generic Best Ever Albums page layout and the title My Chart, with nothing underneath it. Shows no sign that it's loading, just an empty page. It's been like that all day. However, I can still search for and view my chart from my profile, showing 10 at a time. But obviously I can't edit it from that page. Any insights?

that sounds very strange. Apologies, I can't reproduce it here. Is this problem happening after you click on 'edit chart', or can't you get as far as this?
