Sorting personal ratings by year of release

Sorry if this has already been said, but I didn't see it here...

It would be really helpful to be able to sort one's album ratings by year of release. Currently, we can sort by album, band, rating, average, and date added, but it would be great if we could group them by when they came out. Say, if I'd like to quickly see all of my album ratings for albums in the 2000s, it would be helpful if I could do that, without having to have them on a list.

As it stands now, the ratings section doesn't even list the years of the albums at all, which adds another level of frustration...

If you've tagged the albums you've rated as "listened", then when you go on listened albums, at the bottom you can click on the magnifying glass by each decade, and then again for each year in that decade. You can then sort by your rating by clicking on the arrows next to your rating. It also allows for you to see albums you've listened to by each band, as well as albums from each country they are from.

And, I can relate with you here, because it took me a while before I found this out, and was considering posting a topic.

this was what i meant the other day when you didn't understand me, albumaster. only i asked for it conserning songs. but i was so happy i was granted that other christmas-wish (the expansion of the artist-list) i just left it right there, thinking maybe i was the only one in the world having an actual need for that scrolling possibility. it would take me sooo long now to go through all the things i have rated pressing the "listened-to"-button...

Apologies, I misunderstood your previous suggestion I could add the composition to the ratings page too, and also add a sortable year column as well.
