Edit: I now realize that actually all your avatars have been females, but I could differ between you two from the fact that your's used to have boobs |
Haha! Does saoirse annoy you? I think he's pretty cool.
Anyway, yeah boobs and booties are great. I will go back to tht eventually.
Anyway, back to this album....

A good example of an album I listened to a long while ago, liked it a lot then just got bored from overplaying and now going back I don't nearly get that same level of excitement. It's still a very good album, obviously very important for it's time, just no longer a personal favorite. Jesus etc. though, is still as close to musical perfection as one song can possibly be.

BEA (and beyond) essential listening. _________________ "And can’t you see you’re in on it?

I think I had my head up my ass during the 2000's. I don't have any albums on my limited 40 list from that decade. I can't comment on Yankee Hotel 'cause I haven't heard it. I do have "Being There" which may or may not be similar to YH. BT doesn't do anything for me. The 2000's and I don't seem to get along. This topic has inspired me to go back through my 2000's collection and see what's going on.

I'll agree with this. I Am Trying To Break Your Heart is seriously one of the best songs I've ever heard and, although the rest isn't quite as good, it is still brilliant. Wonderful album, one of my favourites.
