The funkiest bass in all of post-punk. The precursor to one of my personal favourite musical loves: dance-punk. This makes me want dance on the decadent dance floor of our society. Great album.

"Damaged Goods" is one of my favorite songs ever.

That being said, I know Chris Ott argues that this band was "amateurish" or something (though he still apparently "loved" them; this was from his video on goth). Do you all wonder if we value this kind of post-punk too much today, BEA.

No. Gang of Four doesn't get enough love. This is an influential classic, and deservedly so.

I like about 3 or 4 songs in this album. The rest of the songs are just alright. It's a 7/10 album.
