Just been building some algorithms to try and better identify this kind of activity. The table above shows the top 9 items where the number of new ratings added in the last couple of weeks as a percentage of the existing ratings for these albums is unusually high (i.e. it tries to catch items that previously had a low volume of ratings that have a sudden glut of activity). No surprise the aforementioned list of Angels & Airwaves albums in this list. Next step is to go through the accounts that have rated this item and take the necessary action against any accounts that have been gaming.
