one of the better 2015 charts. i referenced it a lot while making my 2015 chart, which i have since dismantled and abandoned, but that's another story for another time.

Open minded and "open eared" chart.
The Internet - Ego death
Was okay too, I guess I had it on top of my list.
I guess only
Charles Aznavour - Encores
might survive in my memory, as "Avec un brin de nostalgie" is really an outstanding, deeply felt song.
Sadly the only magic I heard that sad year. (And I listened to more than 50% of your very well and carefully choosen list, but I already forgot about my own list.)

This chart probably shaped my listening habits in 2015 more than any other. Great selection - really wholesome amount of variety. Don't agree with many of the choices, but I sometimes wish I did.

Shucks guys, cheers for the kind words. My laptop died and I lost the - modesty alert - excellent 36 Chambers thread that I'd all but completed, which was kinda demoralising. I still don't have a laptop, and posting via mobile is a mission, hence the lack of activity. It also means I've barely listened to any new albums, but the latest from Ka (mature, minimalist, post-GZA shit), Danny Brown (you already know), G Perico (neo g-funk with a pimp rap bent), Solange (basically just Erykah Badu), and Jenny Hval (obviously) have kept me sane. That Ka will be #1 when I get a new laptop, and Hval will be top five too - so, y'know, check out those if you haven't already. Hope everybody's well. One love y'all.

yeah this is the chart my 2015 chart wants to be when it grows up

Sorry to hear about the dead laptop, that's always a bitch. (Is there any chance of doing some like last-ditch hard drive recovery attempt or did you just completely drown it in dom perignon beyond any hope of recovery?)

In any case hope you find a way to rejoin us here soon (and also rejoin the plug crew some time Smile )
