My favorite after Ziggy. Here's a great video on its making.

Strangely enough this has been the most accessible Bowie album for me, and the one that turned many of my friends on to him. It's not my favorite, (Station To Station holds that title) but it's the first of his studio albums I ever bought and it goes by so fast every time I listen to it; I mean that as a complement, and not just because it's a relatively short album. Warszawa is one of the greatest achievements in music history IMO; it's Eno's best work as well, though I haven't listened to much of him.

David Bowie is one of those artists whose discography is one with which I'm very familiar, but don't love. Low and "Heroes" are the closest I get, especially for their experimental moments. This is terrific.

Track picks
4. Sound And Vision
8. Warszawa
10. Weeping Wall
11. Subterraneans

Hahaha this is truly incredible Laughing

This is one of those albums that still get better every time I listen to it. It doesn't look that strong on paper but when played it's always absolutely amazing.

My fave Bowie record. It's an album of two halves. It has clever poppy hits along with some wonderful synth based instrumentals. The overall sound is late 1970's; but has that self aware feeling that is so unusual of that time. The emotion comes across & it's an album that both Bowie & Eno were both very proud of over the years.

Not one I often pick to listen to, but whenever I do I always enjoy it. One peculiar album from an artist who recorded many instant songs.
