I kneel before the God that is Eno. He gets man of the decade in the 70s as far as I'm concerned.

This is brilliant as is everything else he touched in the 70s.

I love how good of a pop songwriter Brian Eno is. Songs like "Backwater" and "King's Lead Hat" while strange, are instantly hummable and catchy as all hell. His beginning ambient tracks on this album are killer as well.

Oh we're floating in the coastal waters
You and me and the porter's daughters
Ooh what to do not a sausage to do
And the shorter of the porter's daughters
Dips her hand in the deadly waters
Ooh what to do in a tiny canoe

A legend indeed.

oblique strategies and all.

Like Another Green World a bit better, but still solid.

Though he has numerous great works, this is possibly his masterpiece (along with other top candidates Music for Airports & Taking Tiger Mountain by Strategy)
