I just thought of this last night, but I wasn't sure where to put this.

The game is simple. Who sampled the great Clyde Stubblefield beat better?

NWA?

or Public Enemy?

Im going to keep adding to this over time; others can add if they would like, or I'll make it into a diary or something. I don't know, my mind is teeming with the possibilities.

I noticed this a few years back, and wrote a subsequent (but now lost) blog post about the amount of producers sampling Wanderlea's 'Lindo'. Six options below (including two new ones at the top that I've noticed since I wrote that blog post).

A whole lot of great rappers fall for beats using this sample. First time I heard it was when GrandeMarshall flipped it.

For the record, 'Rebel Without A Pause' is the better beat of those in the OP.

Cool idea for a thread, could be a lot of fun.

First one is Public Enemy for me, quite easily.

Skinny's is a bit tricky... but I'm really leaning towards one of the last two (Bronson or GrandeMarshall). That being said, fav track is Vince's.

Aight, soooo, here we go. I'll give you guys a tricky one that is in no way fair or anything Mr. Green Two completely different ways of sampling a song (Les McCann - Sometimes I Cry).

I'm sorry, that was a stupid comparison. Here's one that makes more sense:

Kanye vs. Tupac
