Anyone wanna recommend some albums that create a hazy mood? Not looking for a specific genre, I'm open to it all.

This 45 of 1981 is very misty:

Ambient music is my go-to study genre, but lately I've been on a jazz binge and I'm craving more Blue Note albums. Anyone got recommendations?

Here is my jazz chart so you know what I've listened to already (yes, it is very very very short, but it will expand): https://www.besteveralbums.com/thechart.php?c=40491

Well I wouldn't characterize Blood On The Tracks as country. And I'm not sure which elements are geared toward classical listeners.

That being said, maybe check out Nashville Skyline. It's Bob Dylan's country album and it's very well-done.

While I am unsure of what your asking for, here are 5 country type albums that are essential listening for anyone.

I've got a whole jazz chart if you wanna check it out, but along with the albums that PurpleHazel recommended, here are some I like a lot (I'm going to assume you mean instrumental jazz and not vocal jazz):

Money Jungle by Duke Ellington / Charli... Max Roach

The Incredible Jazz Guitar of Wes Montg...Montgomery

Jazz At Massey Hall by The Quintet

Saxophone Colossus by Sonny Rollins

Soul Station by Hank Mobley

Kneedelus by Kneebody + Daedelus

The Bridge by Sonny Rollins
