Wow, so many great prog rock and related genres' albums, and though it is my favourite genre, I still don't know all the ones you have posted so far. It's also nice to see people discovering 70's prog these days.

ECUPirate was spot on on his reccomendations. I would add to the Supertramp rec their debut album:
(Won't find the BEA link so here is the url)) https://www.besteveralbums.com/thechart.php?a=37409
As radio stations have always ignored it and Hodgson/Davies never play songs from this album, few people know it and, believe me, if you like prog you will enjoy it as much as their better known albums.

And I can't avoid reccomending this album that, although being from the 2000's, sounds like Camel/Oldfield 70's prog while having a style of their own.

Some people who like prog rock sneer at The Moody Blues, but they're idiots. Cuz The Moody Blues rule!!!

Prog has been one of my favorite genres/sub genres for years now. I'd imagine it was probably ultimately what made me interested in jazz, or at least what trained my ear for it when I eventually got to it haha.

Pink Floyd and Rush is always a great start. I don't know how much of the Rush catalog you've taken in, but there are so many great albums through a few distinct periods of writing. Moving Pictures, Hemispheres, and Permanent Waves are standouts to me.

Some other prog (and prog metal) favorites of mine:

Genesis- Selling England by the Pound, and the aforementioned Foxtrot.

King Crimson- Red

Frank Zappa- Apostrophe, Over Nite Sensation

Primus- Sailing The Seas of Cheese

Dream Theater- Scenes From A Memory

Mastodon- Crack The Skye

Tool- Lateralus, AEnima

Flying Colors- Flying Colors (previously mentioned here by Fischman but I thought I was just about the only person who ever heard it Laughing )

Steven Wilson- Hand. Cannot. Erase., The Raven

Selling England By The Pound by Genesis

Animals by Pink Floyd

In The Court Of The Crimson King by King Crimson

These are ASAP listens. I always find approaching a prog album intimidating, I need to listen more !

Thanks so much for all of the suggestions!

I just got back from a massive haul, and I found quite a few of the albums mentioned while crate-digging.

I managed to grab original pressings of these albums for very cheap..

Close To The Edge by Yes
Tormato by Yes
Classic Yes by Yes

Free Hand by Gentle Giant
Playing The Fool by Gentle Giant

Foxtrot by Genesis
Spot The Pigeon by Genesis

Si On Avait Besoin D'Une Cinquième Sai... Harmonium

Tubular Bells by Mike Oldfield

I Robot by The Alan Parsons Project

I look forward to diving into these, and I will be keeping an eye out for all of the others mentioned here so feel free to keep adding! I like to listen to the majority of my music physically so I will probably not be streaming anything unless I find it first. (although if there are some exceptions that I must listen to immediately I'm sure I could Spotify a few...)

And I should mention again, I am a big Pink Floyd fan so yes I own and have heard all of their "prog classics".

I'm not a big fan of prog but I am a big fan of Porcupine Tree /Steven Wilson considered by some to be one of the best ever. To my mind, more "accessible" than a lot of prog. I'd start here.
