roger waters in ottawa, ontario on oct 10.
9/10 performance.
absolutely amazing.
sang alot of songs off his new album. played all the songs to dark side of the moon.
played alot of animals and wish you were here.
only 2 songs off the wall- mother and the final song= comfortably numb.
the band was tight and the musicians were handpicked for this tour.
The visual presentation is always top shelf.
the show was approximately 3 hours long with a 20 min intermission.

Hes 75, and now is moving his "us and them tour" to europe.
He certainly didnt have the energy of a 40/50 year old, but his presence ignites the crowd.
Truthfully, I doubt that i will ever see him again in north america and that makes me really really sad.

By the way,the best live show i have ever seen was by roger waters performing the wall- it was beyond amazing.

i can only wish that if i win the lottery, i will fly to Lisbon ( i travelled there a few years back and found the city incredible) in May and watch him two more times.

I am going to see him in Spain in May, will tell you how he is doing Wink Nice to see that he is still performing long and intense concerts. I really enjoyed his 2014 documentary based on "the Wall" tour (much more than David's Live in Pompei from this year btw).

SLOWDIVE AT THE TRUMAN

The Truman is a new concert venue in Kansas City, MO located in the artsy Crossroads district. Named after the former Mayor of KC, and President, Harry S Truman. It's one big warehouse like room with steel beams crisscrossing the ceiling anr concrete floors.

This was my first time here since it opened a couple of months ago, and I have to say, it might be new favorite place. The sound quality was incredible! That might have been equal parts Slowdive's production and the venue's acoustics. Every instrument and mic wrere mixed at an appropriate volume; no hearing protection the whole night and no damage to the ears. Never too overblown and cacophonous as some places are. Every little detail really came through.

Slowdive were terrific. They played about equal parts of their self titled, souvlaki, and just for a day. (Plus a couple of Pygmalion tracks and the Syd Barret cover of Golden Hair).

After seeing them live I can say that they are a little more post-rocky than shoegazey in some respects. They've got that slow aching buildup to a big climax in a lot of there songs. A very enjoyable experience.

Jason Bonham experience in Montreal this past Saturday night.
9/10
What an incredible performance!! Sold Out!! 1000 people at the mtelus.
It has to be said" Montreal is such an amazing place to see a concert"- blows away Toronto.
And the women are so fucking sexy!!!!!!!!!!

Is "stairway to heaven" the best rock song ever??? I think so, if it isn't, Im not sure what is.

Oh my god-- Kashmir, dazed & confused, no quarter, rain song, going to California, the rover, good times bad times , etc........ Unbelievable.

2.5 hour show that felt like 1 hour. It was a 4 run grand slam homer.
Only 2 shows in Canada (Montreal and Toronto) and now it heads south to the USA.
seriously thinking about going down to see them in the states.

Baralku by Emancipator

Phenomenal performance. This album is arguably his weakest in his whole discography, but in that underground atmosphere it's still a blast and the music's so smooth. Super cool venue in downtown Raleigh.
