I remember when I had an anime thread and all of the anime viewers on site left. Good times.
Yea, I got into a lot more anime myself recently, but I'd always just watched gintama long ago essentially was my main thing. Now I'm into slice of life and sports anime.
So I just began Playing cuphead today and I've already cut my finger by hitting the table so hard. Also two hours played and 3 levels cleared, good or bad I don't know but the reward is orgasmic
Any tips drako? (also anyone else who has played, thoughts and tips?) _________________ Top 100 Hits you must hear before the u... of beauty
Haha how are you supposed to hit the table playing this game??
3 levels/bosses in 2 hours is a pretty good ratio for a start I'd say. The quickest part of the game is the middle IMO, as at first you die because you have to get used to the controls, and at the end you die because it's so goddamn hard.
As for tips, I'd say get the smoke bomb asap. It's useless in air battle, but when grounded, I have a hard conceiving a battle without it, and let's not talk about run n gun levels. Invaluable in getting around many attacks, and sometimes entire mechanics. About the weapon, I've pretty much kept the usual ones for the whole game, apart from a few exceptions, but I know it's definitely not optimal. I'd say get the chaser ones first, they are essential for run n guns, and after that, I like the boomerang and lober ones the most, though you can't use them all the time. The best is to try all the weapons you have against a given boss, and then determine the one you judge the most effective. Technically, the one you charge is the most powerful one, but I was playing on a keyboard and it was way too hard to handle so many keys at once. If you manage to use it well though, go ahead.
Grogg seems to be a fan as well, he might be able to give his vision as well.
But yeah one of the greatest aspects of the game is how rewarding it is to win a fight. I had rarely got a comparable satisfaction in any game I had played before. The expert mode got me though. I decided I would not go past Island I, it was just really too much, and I'm certainly not ready, nor able, to invest so much time in this...
Have fun with the game though, and over everything else, with the soundtrack!

thanks drako-san, I actually got the smoke bomb first, I saw many people on the internet arguing that it was the best choice for first perk in the game. I also got my girlfriend to play with me (me on the keyboard and her on the ps4 controller) but she didn't like the challenge so I ended up partening with my father, which is also a long time gamer.
As for the table I just hit the table from angriness often, I can't believe how many times I insulted that goddamn moon and the flying saucers, wew.
Thanks for all the help drakovsky, also the soundtrack is on point, might check out the whole thing Id I'm ever able to look ath this game once again when I'm done _________________ Top 100 Hits you must hear before the u... of beauty
