Is there a movie you'd really like to see made?
This is just a thread to talk about hypothetical movies that we think would be great.
One I'd like is an American Idiot musical adaptation starring John Gallagher Jr. as JoS, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Whatshername, Ezra Miller as St. Jimmy, and Directed by David Fincher. _________________ Nothing really matters, anyone can see, nothing really matters, nothing really matters to me.

An anthology film where the segments are based on the tracks to Murder Ballads would be pretty sick if it was a low budget splatter flick.

My dream movie would involve me making it in some capacity.
Setting: Missouri/Kansas border.
Plot: Two brothers, one on the Kansas side, the other on the Missouri side, have a tenuous relationship. The Kansas side brother is law enforcement, and his estranged older brother is a medium sized meth manufacturer in Missouri. Although he knows his brother is doing wrong, he can't quite bring him in, because he's still family. However, when the Missouri brother starts to expand his business across the border into Kansas (with the help from Mexican importers), it's up to the younger Kansas brother to decide whether or not to continue to stand by.
Director: Jeff Nichols (Shotgun Stories is a similar movie in the fact that it has two feuding brothers, and is set in rural Arkansas)
Writers: Either Taylor Sheridan or S. Craig Zahler, and me
I'd get the Cohen Brothers to produce.
The plot serves as an allegory for the Bleeding Kansas feud of the 1850's. (Kansas representing free states, Missouri, slave states. Mexico represents meddling from outside forces to sway Kansas).
The tone would be of similar crime/comedies of the past like Fargo.

I've got zilch in terms of plot, but I really want to see Christopher Nolan make a film with Jake Gyllehnaal as the star. If beggars can be choosers, then Gemma Arterton will also be in it.
