Excluding English, what do you think is the best rock and roll language? (Or accents, such as Jamaican for instance)
It could be any type of music, not necessarily rock and roll.

These are the ones I enjoy hearing the most:

French
Japanese
German
Jamaican or Caribbean

I also like hearing singing in Icelandic, Portuguese, and Nigerian (although I don't know the name of the specific language).
But I only have either one or two artists of each, so I don't think that's enough to have a good opinion about it.

I really dig Portuguese and Chinese. Oddly enough a lot of Chinese and Portuguese bands choose to sing in English because the cadence is more suitable to rock music. But I suppose the fact that I have a laymans understanding of both languages and appreciate that there are things you can say in both that don't translate very well to English gives me an appreciation for songs in those languages.

I think your question said "is French the most beautiful?". And I think yes.
The only one I never heard was Francoise Hardy. I always thought she was someone I didn't much like, but that was cool. I want to listen to her one album now that a lot of people like. I forgot which one it is though. Probably that one.

And that is my favorite Air song. I think that's their best album too. Or EP or whatever the hell it is.

And Stereolab just has too many to even mention that are awesome French singing. That track there is my favorite one on that album.

I'll let my small nationalist part in and choose Spanish. As Decurso said with Portuguese and Chinese, some bands here also choose to sing in English, I think to appeal to a broader audience. Also, before, singing in English gave the rock band's lyrics more respect (maybe because people didn't understand that much Razz). Anyway, lately we are having some great Spanish singing rock bands and artists like Vetusta Morla...

This sounds a little like the mellower "Bends era" Radiohead, right? I love the lyrics of this song.

...or Bunbury, previously singer of the 80's-90's well known hard rock band Héroes del Silencio. This protest song is from his latest album.

Great lyrics too Cool

I've been listening to a fuck-ton of surf bands lately and I never realized how many of them sing in Spanish. Some of the best bands I've heard sing in Spanish. And I keep looking for more.
