Country musician/producer Randy Scruggs also went forward earlier this week at the age of 64. A brief illness so far is all that has been said about what took him.

Yeah, doesn't matter whether or not I like their music, when someone in the industry dies that young it just hits you hard. What a shame. I know a few people who went to his shows in Toronto and apparently they were a blast. RIP.
It was on this day 20 years ago that my late beautiful precious Steve Sanders of the Oak Ridge Boys went forward, if only I had discovered him sooner, I love him SO much!!! This was the first song led by him to go to radio and it went to #1 almost 30 years ago.
This is a shame first of all because I'd never wish death on anyone, second of all because it means he'll never be brought to justice for his heinous alleged crimes, and third because it's going to further build a mystique around him and cause more people to appreciate him and his legacy. I do agree with this but death is the ultimate punishment. Sure the victims won't get the cathartic finish to be behind bars but...
