Nasir I listened to and i like it a lot not even close enough to consider it the best month in hip hop. you can like something and still not think its the best ever. I have also heard The bulk of Ye at a friends was not impressed but like i said i generally don't like his albums.

I'd like to hear what you believe to be the best week in hip hop for a single artist..?

I meant month but hell the month Tupac released All Eyez On ME thats 4 LP's of vinyl plus out takes used on subsequent albums That was better to me and thats without digging into it to deeply. Eazy E had a month where he had a couple things happening between himself and some artists. Puffy had some good months not that i think he's all that either as an artist but he picked she good talent same with Suge who wasn't an artist but had some months with multiple acts at the top of the game under his wing. I admitted it could be because i think Kanye blows as an artist so i am far from unbiased.

I was thinking, is Kanye even mainly a hip hop artist? Because his albums don't even sound remotely similar to Tupac or Biggie.... maybe we should have a separate pop rap category or something...

I'm by no means a Kanye fan but having multiple albums from different artists all drop in the same week with you having the majority of the production credits is a pretty great feat.

Dropping a long album (the 2pac comparison) is not anywhere near the same. And yes I like that album better than all of these albums that are dropping recently but you can't discredit him because you don't like his music style. I'm seeing all 4 albums on year charts already which has to mean something..
