Blow Out is totally a Neo-Noir in my book. I simply forgot about it when I did my list and badseed reminded me of it.

I rewatched Dressed to Kill last night and it made me think, you know, Blow Out's more noir than I thought (in relation to Dressed to Kill)! Very Happy

Yeah, the thing with the scream is one of the most awesome touches that anyone ever put at the end of a movie. Whoever thought of that was really really smart.

De Palma wrote and directed, so presumably it was him. It's an cynical, coldblooded touch, but the circumstances of that scream are what cinches the movie as noir. Probably De Palma's best film IMO, though it has some rivals.

I couldn't remember if he wrote it or co-wrote it with someone else or what.
Yeah, I think it's probably his best one too, although there's a lot of others I like just as much.

Started tallying, but since I haven't done this before, I'm not sure how long it'll take. Possibly I'll be done late tonight, but it might be closer to late Wednesday.

There's a 90% chance I need spreadsheet tips to make this shit easier as well. Currently I just copy and paste then assign point values, then sort by name to find any duplicates (highlight duplicates sometimes doesn't work because votes often don't have the same format).

Also looking forward to final list.
