Already finished Mouth Moods. Love it a lot. Wish I heard this back in 2017.

T.I.M.E. is one of the best tracks ever. Village People & Hans Zimmer. It needs to be heard !!!
That being said, the rest of the album is pretty annoying. Anxious

And The Ooz is genius from start to finish.

Oh man! King Krule are really good. Saw him live in 2014. Amazing! And The Ooz is a really good album, but I gotta give it to Mouth Moods here. I really didn't know what to expect having paid little to no attention to mashups before but wow that was a lot of fun. Like trainspotting for music nerds...and almost genius the way he gets things that shouldn't work together to sound so good. Can't wait to bust this out in the middle of a piss up with mates.

I've listened to King Krule a couple times and it hasn't clicked for me. Based on the genres in play, it should be right up my alley. I think the songwriting isn't catchy or memorable enough for it to truly stick. It blends together in my mind, but it's a nice blend nonetheless.

The Ooz is easily my favorite of this pair. That's because I found Mouth Moods insufferable and hard to sit through. It's one giant musical meme. But instead of a dank meme, it sounds more like someone using the troll face unironically in 2017. There are moments of transcendence, I will admit, but they are drowned out by a flood of cheesy garbage. And a couple songs are genuinely fun, but those that aren't are offensively bad. That's in part because much of the source material is subpar music itself. I did laugh once - when he slid the "I want to be a cowboy baby" Vine into the mix.
