I went through all of Laura Marling's albums a few years ago, and this one didn't leave much of an impression. I remember thinking that her first great album was the one following this - A Creature I Don't Know.
Still, she was my age when she made this, and that's impressive! She just hadn't quite found her voice yet. _________________ Top 40 Greatest Music Albums by indieshins
My favourite albums of hers are Once I Was An Eagle and Semper Femina. They are fantastic. Also I like her debut.
Probably my favourites too. Her last 3 under her own name have been great, each for different reasons. OIWAE had great flow, Short Movie had better individual songs, and Semper Femina had some interesting experimentation.
