This album wakes feelings. It's one of those albums, that are perfectly fitting, when somberness is taking over the tone of my mind or mood. And even though, many ppl have said many things about it, words still are pretty hard to form my thoughts around Parachutes. Maybe it's because it rather speaks to my heart and soul. The closest I currently can get is, like, the eerie comforting of a "it's okay to fear, it's okay to cry, but I'm here to light and guide you"-emotion... but in the most dense and intense way possible.
It's been months since I've last heard the record, and I still get goosebumps thinking about random moments through and through. Maybe after May, when listening to it again, might as well become my favorite Coldplay album period.
Where to listen to it: room, car, Starbucks, on a walk
When to listen to it: foggy day, rainy day, sunny day, lonely night, midnight
How to listen to it: I actually recommend any format for Parachutes.
What to listen to: the entire album
Why to listen to it: it'll comfort some lonely emotions, give you inspiration like the way you hold water to drink from your hands, simply relax you. And...it's tuneful.
