Thanks. So BAWP is a bit like "You don't know anything about Gangsta Rap, if you only listen to critically acclaimed albums!" That's a nuanced put down!!

It wasn't meant so much as a put down as a novel observation based on my specific experiences (and a fairly self-deprecating observation at that). And it certainly isn't universally applicable, nor is it quite as simple as "gangsta rap vs. critically acclaimed rap", but yeah, you seem to have grasped the general gist of it.

I do want to thank this thread for reminding me about Notorious Thugs. I've basically had it on repeat since and it might become one of the GOAT songs for me soon.

Also this album is underrated on BEA:

E. 1999 Eternal by Bone Thugs-N-Harmony

Good i am glad i honestly wish i liked the song and the group (BTH)i would much rather get pleasure from something then be annoyed by it. Glad you find it pleasurable, i truly am. To the individual that was apparently insinuating that i must not know anything about gangster rap but be more into critically acclaimed rap all i can say is LOL as i FAR PREFER GANGSTER RAP. After classic rock and possibly fusion Gangster rap is my next favorite type of music. I just don't like the song or BTH again wish i did because i prefer pleasure to annoyance.

Didn't mean this as a slight at you. I respect your opinion and you have clearly listened to a lot of hip-hop.

Rubber Soul has Norwegian Wood, one of my GOAT Beatles songs but it also contains awful album closer and WOAT song Run For Your Life. I don't like that song and it mars an otherwise excellent album.

Regarding The Beatles I reckon a lot of people would say Maxwell's Silver Hammer on Abbey Road is a WOAT song.

Re: Revolver.

My Beatle GOAT is Got to Get You Into My Life/WOAT is Yellow Submarine.

I'd have picked 'Love' over 'Loyalty'. 'Duckworth' is correct, though.
