I second all of these (except Unsane because I haven't seen it yet). Especially Eighth Grade. Watch Eighth Grade.

And may I add:
Support the Girls
The Favourite

You Were Never Really Here was a 2017 festival film that didn't get a theatrical release until 2018. I recall some folks were able to watch it in time for the 2017 poll, but most of us (including myself) weren't. And it doesn't seem fair that YWNRH can't be eligible for this. First Reformed, Prayer Before Dawn, Revenge, and several others were also released only in festivals in 2017, but not in theaters until 2018. They shouldn't be ineligible either.

Bottom line: If Nanette is allowed and You Were Never Really Here isn't, count me out.

This 100%. You Were Never Really Here was very high on my anticipated list but it didn't come out in the US until April 2018, and it'd be very high on my list here.

I mentioned anticipating it heavily in the 2017 poll after you included it on your list Hayden, and you mentioned it'd probably be okay for the 2018 poll.

I'm definitely down for this and I definitely think You Were Never Really Here should be allowed. I get why The Death of Stalin isn't allowed since it was released pretty much everywhere but the U.S. in 2017.

Also, 2018 films you all should 10000% watch: Minding the Gap. Beautiful documentary.

Haven't gotten around to this yet... hopefully soon. Definitely a strange surge of skating films in 2018.

I still have Border, Vox Lux, Rafiki, 3 Faces, Capharnaum, Sunset, and Our Time on my to-watch list, but after that, I should be able to whip up a 50-film list.

It's happening. A tournament has started and this thread is getting pushed towards the bottom, and it may become hard to see this thread as the 2018 song tournament unfolds. I still say it's time to get the moderators to move this, along with past polls, to the Movies and TV Section.

But without further ado, here are my lists, subject to change:

1. Widows
2. First Reformed
3. Thoroughbreds
4. You Were Never Really Here
5. Searching
6. Shoplifters
7. Isle of Dogs
8. BlacKkKlansman
9. Three Identical Strangers
10. Sorry to Bother You
11. The Death of Stalin
12. Cold War
13. The Favourite
14. Free Solo
15. The Sisters Brothers
16. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
17. Blindspotting
18. American Animals
19. Mandy
20. A Quiet Place
21. Eighth Grade
22. Roma
23. Green Book
24. Game Night
25. The Other Side of the Wind
26. Fahrenheit 11/9
27. Cosplay Universe
28. Sicario: Day of the Soldado
29. Hereditary
30. Won't You Be My Neighbor?
31. Avengers: Infinity War
32. Boy Erased
33. The Old Man and the Gun
34. Incredibles 2
35. Ralph Breaks the Internet
36. Annihilation
37. Deadpool 2
38. Ant-Man and the Wasp
39. Upgrade
40. Halloween
41. Climax
42. Bad Times at the El Royale
43. The Ballad of Buster Scruggs
44. Don't Worry, He Won't Get Far on Foot
45. First Man

I might see these before the poll ends: Prayer Before Dawn, They Shall Not Grow Old, Zama, Free Solo, Wreck-It-Ralph 2, Blindspotting, Wildlife, Mary Queen of Scots

With the acting categories, I try to balance lead and supporting roles.

Male Acting

1. Ethan Hawke, First Reformed
2. Christian Bale, Vice
3. Joaquin Phoenix, You Were Never Really Here
4. Viggo Mortenson, Green Book
5. Mahershala Ali, Green Book
6. Robert Redford, The Old Man and the Gun
7. Jasper Pääkkönen, BlacKkKlansman
8. Rafael Casal, Blindspotting
9. Robert Duvall, Widows
10. John Cho, Searching

Female Acting

1. Rachel Weisz, The Favourite
2. Viola Davis, Widows
3. Olivia Cooke, Thoroughbreds
4. Olivia Colman, The Favourite
5. Joanna Kulig, Cold War
6. Anya Taylor-Joy, Thoroughbreds
7. Emma Stone, The Favourite
8. Emily Blunt, A Quiet Place
9. Elsie Fisher, Eighth Grade
10. Elizabeth Debicki, Widows

Underrated Films (I don't know what this is supposed to look like, and may change it a ton. For now, I'm going through my own list and selecting the ones I don't think are gonna get much praise):

1. Thoroughbreds
2. Three Identical Strangers
3. Free Solo
4. The Sisters Brothers
5. American Animals
6. Mandy
7. Game Night
8. Cosplay Universe
9. Sicario: Day of the Soldado
10. The Old Man and the Gun

EDIT #1 - Saw Free Solo, Ralph Breaks the Internet, and Climax in the past month and edited them in. Free Solo was great. Ralph Breaks the Internet and Climax were okay, good enough that I don't mind putting them on here, but the real reason for their inclusion is to give all my higher choices a couple extra points. There may or may not be another edit.

EDIT #2 - Saw Blindspotting today and added it to the list. Also added Casal's performance. A couple other minor edits.
