Record fair haul:

( ) by Sigur Rós

Repress. Despite having owned Takk and Ágætis Byrjun for an age I’ve never listened to this all the way through. Couldn’t resist a punt for 10 squids.

Moby Grape by Moby Grape

Some Dutch pressing for £3

Old Man On The Bridge by King Kong

Someone on BEA mentioned this and I remember being fascinated enough to listen to it at the time. Really liked it - saw it for the first time in the wild so had to indulge.

Nozinja Lodge by Nozinja

Brand new, dirt cheap, obviously not to everyone’s taste..

And through the post:

Anne Briggs by Anne Briggs

Debut album, repressed on gold vinyl. Why? I have no idea.

Best bargain of the lot, unless the Anne Briggs didn't cost one month of my salary.

Used CDs yesterday (I don't post everything I get, it's like 10 Cds between 50c and €2 a week) yesterday while I was taking a break from taking over the lady's toil learning my new 2-days old son how to pee properly:

Tings An' Times by Linton Kwesi Johnson

A June Tabor CD that is not filed in here;

A UT CD that isn't either;

Neon Golden by The Notwist

I'm A Dreamer by Josephine Foster

Yellow Magic Orchestra by Yellow Magic Orchestra

€1 each at the thrift shop just around the corner from the hospital my newborn son just hit up with his unbearably irresistible charm.

Oh btw, did I mention I've just been a father for the second time? Cos I just have. He's Ezra and he's cool & cute.

With both Anarchy and Good Vibrations closing their doors recently it was great to discover a great new second hand shop has opened next door to Big Apple records in Nottingham. Really friendly owner and loads of great condition stock...could have spent quite a bit but contained myself on this visit to just these two.

Snog by The Popguns

This Is Our Music by Galaxie 500

Both UK original presses
