This album was a positive revelation when I first heard it at the age of 12 (about 7 years after its release).
I had of course heard Pinball Wizard on the radio, and thought it was pretty cool, but that was really nothing relative to the album in its entirety.
TBH, these days, I can't really listen to it in its entirety any more, but I still have some favorite cuts.... well above the one big hit.

For me The Who are a bit hit and miss.
But this is one of their hits for me.
An excellent concept album and I love watching excerpts from it performed live on concert videos.
They hit the bullseye with this one.

I didn't think much of it.

Late ‘60s tryhards vomit up a rock opera and now we all have to suffer through random blind people thinking they’re good at pinball. Spoiler: Your sense of smell don’t do shit.

This album was huge when it was released- it had its day in the sun.
Daltrey became the real deal, not to fans, but to fellow band members.
We now know, it wasnt their best work.
But for diehard WHO fans, this album is stlll exciting.
