Outstanding album!
The whole singer songwriter genre is pretty hit or miss for me, but this one is a massive hit.
The whole album's good, but the first two cuts are absolutely top shelf awesome. The first has such a killer groove and sweeping momentum its impossible to not get swept up in it and the second is one of the most beautifully plaintive... and heartbreakingly well emoted songs ever recorded.

This album is really good, but it's grown off me a lot over the years. First two tracks are still amazing though.

Classic can be a rather over used word but this album really is. Every song is superb. Truly one of the greatest albums ever recorded

Brilliant songs. Hard to think of another album with so many classics (except the Teal album maybe!!!) Never been sure where to go next with Carol King- this album seems to dominate all conversation about her work. Surely she has some other good stuff?
