I played Katamari Damacy for the first time earlier this year, and it was a ton of fun. The soundtrack was a big reason why; I usually don't care about video game music and will often mute games to listen to something else, but I always wanted to listen to the Katamari soundtrack while playing it. So that's some consolation if El-P loses here.

But I have to stick with my pick. It's just a great concept and manages to feel really human despite being about robots. Plus it has a great hook.

To me, this would be a bracket for the finals of this tournament. Because while I adore the El-P track, the theme to Katamari just describes the 2000's for me as well as being a more ambitious track. But don't sleep on Stepfather Factory.

I love El P, but I'm going with Katamari. Made me wish I would have chosen a good game soundtrack.

Laughing

Also I accidentally, then purposely played both at the same time.

Also for me it's the robots.

Didn't quite get the appeal of either on a first listen. I could imagine the computer game track being really fun in that context but not so much as a stand alone track for me. I went for ELP as I think it might grow on me in the next round.
