I'm alive, but the Super Bowl hangover is real. 
Although I went to the Royals Parade in 2015, I won't be going tomorrow, because it's going to be a huge clusterfuck. Possibly a million people to attend plus some snow. I'm just going to enjoy my day off.

I have a compromised immune system and a case of unknown origin just surfaced near me. So I'm going to follow the prevailing medical recommendations (which the Trump admin has blocked from government communications) to become a semi-hermit starting in a few days. Luckily, I can work from home. Needless to say, not pleased by these developments or the government's handling of the crisis.

Shit man, sorry to hear that, hang in there, at least you're able to work from home anyway, it's strange out there at the moment.

I'm far from being a panicky guy, but it's scary seeing how out of control the situation in Italy has become, it's way beyond anything I imagined even a month ago. I wonder if people around the world even realize how bad it is. And then you get the feeling that most other larger countries aren't doing anything differently to Italy and it's just a matter of time before the same happens there too (Germany, Spain, France, UK, USA).
Not sure what to think of Slovenian response. It's definitely not reassuring to hear my sister, a doctor, telling the rest of the family that most her coworkers are freaking out. It's also not reassuring that many cases in Slovenia are connected to doctors going on a skiing holiday in Italy, then infecting a bunch of people on their return home. Not many confirmed cases so far, but at this pace we'll all be on lockdown by next week.
Strange times... Stay safe if you are among the at risk demographic, don't be stupid if you're not.
