You read my mind, Repo. I was gonna resurrect this thread today or tomorrow depending when that 8 seed in the West is determined. As a 76ers fan, you and I are gonna have problems (joking). I don't know though about Boston winning the East. Milwaukee steamrolled the East during the regular season. Who can stop them?

The 76ers have been too inconsistent. I don't think Brown is a good coach/system for their pieces. Something has to be changed if they fail to get to the finals again this year.

I'm rooting for the Blazers (dark horse), Clippers, and Celtics myself. And I really shouldn't be rooting for the Celtics ever given I'm from Detroit, but I want Kemba to have a chip so bad that I can overcome that rivalry.

The Sixers' problem is they feed too much off the energy of the crowd. They were amazing on their home court, terrible on the road. Of course the whole playoffs will be on a neutral court without fans so who knows. Anyway I agree Brown probably isn't the right guy for their future, which is unfortunate cause he put the team together. And with Simmons done for the season, it's very unlikely they'll get to the finals. I don't even think they'll get out of the first round.

Yep, though Embid does have flashes of greatness where he is unstoppable for entire stretches. Always disappointing he can't do it for longer or relegates himself to more passive plays. I feel like his passivity is a hurdle to him much like it is/was for Drummond in Detroit, except worse because you see how much higher Embid's ceiling is. Sad

I’m rooting for Raptors personally. It’d be cool if they managed to win another ring without Kawhi. Also they are so much fun to watch, their defense is incredibly cool.

Lowry IMO is a top three two-way guard in the league right now. Huge IQ. Great playmaker. Really underrated. I think only really Jrue is better than him.

Bucks over Magic in 4 - Magic were outmatched even before they lost Isaac.
Raps over Nets in 4 - Allen, LeVert & Harris are good and will make noise, but the Nets have no chance without Irving, Dinwiddie, Jordan and Prince.
Celts over 76ers in 6 - Celts are too deep. Embid will give Theis a workout, but the Celts win this.
Heat over Pacers in 7 - Best series in the East.

Lakers over Blazers in 7 - I love the Blazers, but they have nobody who can handle LeBron.
Clips over Mavs in 5 - Doncic wins one game by himself, but the Mavs can't defend the Clips depth.
Nuggets over Jazz in 7 - Should be a great series.
Thunder over Rockets in 6 - Adams is going to average 15+ rebounds

Personally, I hope for a Clips/Raps final. Kawhai vs the champs.

I'm also rooting for the Raps, Pacers, Blazers and Jazz.

Round 1 predictions:

Bucks over Magic in 4 - Complete mismatch.
Raptors over Nets in 4 - Another mismatch.
Celtics over 76ers in 6 - Boston had the edge even before Ben Simmons's injury. Now the 76ers have to play new schemes they haven't had much time to practice, let alone against an opponent who's an all-around tough team. Who knows, maybe my team can benefit from a new approach and pull an upset but I don't see it happening.
Heat over Pacers in 6 - I would say Indiana if they were fully healthy, but they're not. Then again, Miami didn't play their best in the return. This could go either way, but I think Miami has the edge if they get their **** together.

Lakers over Blazers in 5 - Lakers looked a little rusty in the return while the Blazers were playing for their lives. However, I wonder if the Lakers were merely resting given their #1 seed was already secured.
Clippers over Mavericks in 5 - Could even go 6 or 7. Dallas is up and coming, but I'll stick with 5 games. Clippers are simply deeper and more experienced.
Jazz over Nuggets in 7 - Coin-flip series. Should be very entertaining.
Thunder over Rockets in 6 - Chris Paul now plays for OKC and Westbrook now plays for HOU? Okay. I heard Westbrook is mildly injured and will miss the early games of this series. That'll be Houston's Oklahoma City's opportunity to steal the momentum early and carry it to a series win.
